Berkeley Biosciences Study Abroad (BBSA) program

The Berkeley Biosciences Study Abroad (BBSA) program is a joint program held by University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) and universities worldwide. The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) have been collaborating with UC Berkeley for over 5 years. Every year, a maximum of 5 CUHK students will spend their spring semester at UC Berkeley with tuition fee waiver.

The selected students will study in the Departments of Integrative Biology and Molecular & Cell Biology at UC Berkeley and take 12 units of upper level courses, which can be transferred back to fulfill the graduation requirements. Students also gain opportunities in getting research internship in the two departments. This program is a precious chance to connect with peers across the globe, networking with top scientists in the world.
